These are just what I wanted for a clear glass cylinder hanging light fixture. It really gives it a nice warm, old-fashioned look. I had a regular bulb in it and it just didn’t look right. This is much better. They aren’t super bright bulbs, but they are plenty bright for my needs. I love that they are dimmable so I can change the mood. At 2700K they are the very warm end of the light bulb spectrum.  Luckily they were packaged well from the manufacturer, inside a thin box, but with an egg carton design carrier inside to protect them from bumping against each other. The shipper just put it in another box with flat bubble wrap. Anyway, they made it and work great.
